Introverts generally don’t need to be in the spotlight – in fact, they would rather not be and typically prefer to highlight the strengths of others around them.
You can think of them as the quiet force behind the scenes building-up the people around them, helping them shine.
Since introverts tend to process information more slowly and thoughtfully than extroverts introverted leaders tend to learn more about their team members.
They have focused conversations with their team members in order to learn their skills, passions and strengths and use what they’ve learned to help each team member be more efficient and happier at work.
So, while introverted leaders might not be as noticeable as extroverted leaders, they tend to provide an environment, where all members of their team are develop and use their skills and contribute to the overall success of the team.
If you are introverted and an introverted leader, do you find this to be true for you?
