Postcard that asks if introverts are good at networking.

Like seriously? This is the myth of the century!

Introverts are actually natural-born networkers. Perhaps not in the typical way we think of networking, which is to attack a roomful of people wielding your business card like a weapon.

But in small groups or one-on-one interactions are where introverts really excel and can really make deeper, more meaningful connections with people.

So who says that you need to “network” in a way that fails to honour your strengths?

As more places open-up during this pandemic, there are more networking opportunities with smaller groups of people than there are massive events.

And since our health and the health of our loved ones should be our priority, we are well within our rights to decline any in-person events, which tend to be quite draining for introverts anyway.

Seek out smaller, quieter gatherings.

The pandemic has really brought the use of technology to connect with others even more to the forefront that before.

So you can send emails or connect with people via LinkedIn.

Technology was made for introverts! So, learn to use it to your best advantage.

If you are an introvert, feel free to share how you build and maintain social and professional connections.
